Guardian Christmas Advent Calendar 2023 |
Of course Christmas is just around the corner with less than a month. It means that the advent calendars are everywhere. Advent calendar is a gift box consist of cut out with numbers inside it that you need to open it one by one, day by day. Like daily gift before Christmas. Normally the items are small and minis that the brands sell.
Being honest, I always wanted one but it always come with hefty price tags. All the luxury brands and chocolates always price their advent calendar with thousands and thousands of ringgit. Cheapest one will cost you around RM500-ish for chocolate.
I won't spend such RM to those advent calendar to get all minis items. I'm not even that rich enough too. Hahaha.
Anyway, Guardian comes to light by releasing their own version. Guess the price? Yes, it's still above hundred. Haha. It cost RM144-ish BUT I bought it during promotion (Skincare Promotion), so I only need to pay RM115-ish. Hehe not bad for an advent calendar!
Tho it's supposed to be surprise, they actually list the items on the back of the box. Haha. Other brands did it too. It's quite normal. Yet you still got a surprise since they made the products specifically to fit in a box. It won't be the same as they sell it at the store. You can't find it unless when you buy the advent calendar. So let's review it.

Front and back |
Box - Feel quite good quality. Not shabby. I feel nice to hold it. The designs are quite cute too. The colour is engaging, fun and inviting. BUT the gold numbers make me blind looking for one by one, the numbers almost blending with the designs. Hahahaha. Yet not so bad.

The box design with 24 numbers |
Items - They are 24 items inside. Some are repeatitive. Like I have 2 of same things for several items. The designs are slightly cheap looking for some but not all. Some are very good looking. And no Guardian or any brand logo on the item tho the products are customized.
Not sure which brand they used. Since it's Guardian, I trust them for giving good quality product. Not from unidentified 'timbang kilo' products. 'Timbang kilo' products are the products you get from slummy factories that have no qualification or certified as safe.
The products also mentioned no animal testing. As for vegan, it's not being mentioned. But its safety is assured by having batch number, expiration date, distributer details as well as ingridients for every items.
I won't be listing all, but all you can get are parfumes, balm, lotion, scrub, makeup accessories and mist. You can refer the photo and video below:

For RM115-ish I spend, I do still feel happy to purchase this as advent calendar is bought to be gifted as a part of experience. Tho I can grab all 24 items in one go since it's small, it doesn't make me fell the products are less useful or not. In other part, I'm glad too since I finally can buy myself an advent calendar with affordable price tag and have lots of minis items that I can fit into my small bag.
Well, you may get yours at Guardian Store nearby. Find Guardian Store that located at bigger mall or where the people always go. Small store might not sell it. I also don't think they sell it online as I checked it last time.
Besides Christmas Advent Calendar, they also sell another types of gift set. You can check them out too via my other video below:
I guess, if you want to give people something thoughtful and useful, Guardian Gift Set can be your choice since it can be used in daily life and it's already being wrapped nicely. (Sound like a Guardian promoter here, hahaha).
That's it. Merry Christmas in advance!
